Bestselling children's author Jan Brett will read and sign her book, The Easter Egg.

In The Easter Egg, bestselling children's book author Jan Brett’s lovable bunny hero, Hoppi, and her remarkable Easter Rabbit will enchant readers as they pore over illustrations filled with dazzling eggs made by Flora Bunny, Aunt Sassyfrass and others. Spring is everywhere in gorgeous illustrations framed with pussy willows, flowering vines and flowers.

We will begin distributing free line numbers at 9:45am at the Children's entrance. The first 100 tickets in line will receive a free signed Jan Brett poster.

She will sign a minimum of one book per ticket, and she will sign more if possible. We will also have special signed bookplates featuring Jan’s artwork for all of the extra books. Photos welcome!

Jan’s tour bus will be outside, wrapped in artwork from The Easter Egg. Your family is welcome to take a photograph next to the bus.

Meet Hedgie

Hedgie, Jan’s favorite friend from The Mitten and The Hat, will be visiting our store as well. Please bring the kids to have a photo taken with Hedgie.
