Louder Than Hell: The Definitive History of Metal
Louder Than Hell is the definitive oral history of heavy metal, including hundreds of interviews with members of Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Limp Bizkit, and a host of other musicians who defined not only a sound, but a culture. Co-edited by veteran rock journalist Jon Wiederhorn, a senior writer for Revolver magazine who has also contributed to Rolling Stone, Spin, Entertainment Weekly, Guitar World, and Emusic.com; and Katherine Turman, journalist and producer of Alice Coopers nightly syndicated radio program, Louder Than Hell tells the epic, explosive story of the metal movement through the voices of heavy metal monsters, from Judas Priest to Metallica, Slipknot, Korn, and beyond.
